Deciding a puppy is right for your family is possibly the best decision you’ll make but it can be pretty daunting once you’ve made that decision, particularly as there is so much to get right in such a short space of time.
The amount of (bad) advice and conflicting opinion is overwhelming, and whilst foundation puppy classes or obedience packages offer good basics, they often fall short of providing the depth of support guardians truly benefit from during the early stages of a puppy’s life.
Puppyhood is more than just sit, stay, and come.
It’s a developmental period where your puppy learns how to feel safe in the world, how to interact with all kinds of different people and dogs, how to cope with frustration, and how to trust you as their Guardian. Without comprehensive guidance, even experienced and well-meaning owners can unintentionally reinforce problem behaviours that may not surface until adolescence—or miss vital socialisation windows that can’t be repeated.
The 5-month Signature Puppy Training Programme is designed to walk with you through every phase of puppyhood—from preparing your home and surviving the first nights, to navigating the whirlwind of early puppy challenges (think sharp-toothed, flying ball of fluff with big opinions).
Training forms a core element of the Programme. Using only positive, non-aversive methods, you'll learn how to teach essential behaviours—like calm settling, loose-lead walking, recall, and handling new situations—while building trust through clear, reward-based communication. It's about more than obedience; it's the foundation for a well-adjusted, emotionally secure dog.
You’ll become a master of canine communication equipping you with the skills to accurately interpret your puppy’s body language and behaviours, ensuring you can help them to feel safe and secure in any situation, strengthening your connection and confidence.

What makes this 5-month programme different?
This isn’t just tick box training. It’s a full-support programme designed to walk with you through every phase of puppyhood — puppy preparation, early developmental challenges, prevention of behaviour problems, obedience training, working through day-to-day struggles and developing a bond that will last a lifetime.
In-depth 1:1 Puppy Consultation
Typically this in-person consultation lasts 2 hours and allows us to fully discuss navigating the early puppy challenges. Collecting your puppy, bonding with them, helping them feel secure, creating positive crate/pen association, settled sleep, toilet training, navigating biting and canine communication.
Puppy Assessment
An assessment of your puppy’s temperament so that you have a true understanding of how to bond with them and motivate them during the sensitive early days that mould life-long learning.
10 hours of practical 1-2-1 training sessions
I will create a training plan tailored to your puppy’s unique personality and your lifestyle. Over the course of 5 months you’ll become skilled at training the life skills, obedience and manners you’d like your puppy to have in order to become a well-rounded family pet. Seperation training, crate training, car travel, ‘obedience’ training and so much more will be covered in detail for you to achieve a high standard of training.
Practical hands-on training
Training is a skill! I will coach you on how to teach these skills. With sessions in your home, your local area and Wimbledon Common, the training we do will set you up in the real world for real life with your pup.
6 week group Puppy School Course
Attendance to one 6 week Puppy School course run on a Wednesday evening by Associate Tutor Marta Beldowska.
Ongoing WhatsApp Support
Unlimited whatsapp support during working hours* for ongoing guidance, questions, troubleshooting and progress updates.
Video footage review & feedback
This allows for detailed, tailored guidance to help you make more precise and effective progress between consultations and ensuring consistency in your dog’s training journey.
Lifeskills assessment
We will check how well your puppy is habituating to life in the city and how they’re developing their social skills, making sure to focus on areas that need developing.
Prevention of problem behaviours
As a specialist in puppy development and canine communication, and with experience training hundreds of puppies, I focus on preventing behaviour issues before they arise—addressing challenges early with a proactive, thoughtful approach.
